Industrial TC-5241 Low Temperature Thermostat

Schneider Electric's Barber Colman TC-5241 is a low-temperature thermostat with a 20‑ft capillary that senses temperature over a large area and reads the coldest one-foot segment along the sensing element to protect refrigeration and HVAC equipment. The setpoint is adjustable from 35 to 60°F (1.7 to 15.5°C) with a fixed 5°F differential, and versions are available in SPDT and DPST configurations for direct switching of loads. This manual-reset freeze-stat includes capillary mounting clips and is UL and CSA approved, with ratings suitable for direct refrigeration control: up to 17 full-load amps at 120/208/240 VAC, 24 non-inductive amps at those voltages, or 16 non-inductive amps at 24 VAC. The 20‑ft sensing element makes it appropriate for applications such as low-temperature control of steam coils, frost indication in storerooms or orchards, and temperature regulation of freezer cabinets, display cases, beverage coolers, and milk tanks.
