Industrial TA-CJ-4CI Water Tight Telephone Enclosure

SCM Sistemas TA-CJ-4CI is an industrial sound-powered telephone housed in a rugged water-tight enclosure designed for bulkhead mounting in harsh, high-noise environments. The system uses a conventional handset with a 60 cm spiral cord (extendable to 1.5 m) and an ABS earpiece, and it includes an acoustic alarm rated at 104 dB(A) at 1 m, with an available headphone connection for noisy areas (model TA-ACM-A). The enclosure is built from GW plastic and is specified as waterproof, making it suitable for outdoor docks, ships, and demanding industrial sites. A 12-position extensions selector switch is included, expandable up to 24, enabling multiple extensions within a single unit. The TA-CJ-4CI supports standard analog signaling with resistive and inductive loads (10 A at 250 VAC / 30 VDC; cosΨ ≈ 0.4; L/R = 7 ms, 5 A at 250 VAC / 30 VDC). For installation, it is designed for bulkhead mounting and is rated to operate from -20 °C to +50 °C with relative humidity up to 95% (non-condensing). The unit weighs approximately 5.5 kg, delivering clear speech quality in demanding environments while integrating signaling and alarms into a single, robust enclosure.
