Industrial SM300A32800FP Proximity Sensor Switch

Hyde Park Telemecanique’s SM300A32800FP is a compact ultrasonic proximity sensor switch in the SUPERPROX family, designed for non-contact part presence sensing in industrial equipment. It runs on a 12–24 V DC supply and provides a PNP switching output suitable for PLCs and control logic. The sensor detects most materials within a 0.25 to 4.0 inch range (approximately 6.35–102 mm) and features a flat-profile housing that fits tight spaces on conveyors, tooling fixtures, and machine beds. Built for harsh environments, it carries IP67 and NEMA 4X protection ratings, making it suitable for washdown or chemical-exposure settings in manufacturing environments. Connection options include a 3‑pin Pico-style connector on variants that use a Pico interface, with LED indicators to show sensing status: Green LED is ON when no object is sensed, Amber LED lights when an object is detected, providing a quick visual confirmation during setup and operation. As part of the Hyde Park SUPERPROX line, the SM300 series is designed for noncontact switching needs such as part presence verification, end-of-travel detection, jam prevention, and general automation sensing tasks where material color or reflectivity would mislead optical sensors.
