Industrial Sier-Bath-2-1-2-Vari-Crown-Flanged-With-Flex-Hub Flanged Coupling

Lovejoy/Sier-Bath F-Type flanged sleeve gear coupling, size 2-1/2 in bore, is a complete power-transmission assembly that combines two flex hubs, two sleeves and an accessory kit, with flex hubs featuring a keyed bore for secure shaft mating. It uses the patented Vari-Crown tooth form and precision-cut 20° pressure-angle gear teeth, forged in 1045 steel and secured with heat-treated bolts for long life and strength. The design accommodates parallel and angular misalignment as well as end float, with a maximum angular misalignment of 3 degrees (1.5 degrees per gear mesh) and an outside diameter of about 8.38 inches for the 2-1/2 in size. Exposed-bolt construction is standard, with shrouded-bolt options available on request through size 6.
