Industrial SDL SMARTEYE OCNTROLLER Controller

TRI-TRONICS SMARTEYE fiber optic photoelectric sensor controller uses fiber optic light guides to detect objects in confined or demanding environments, such as packaging machinery, conveyors, and automated production lines where precise detection is required. Operating from a 12–24 VDC supply, the controller provides complementary NPN and PNP transistor outputs up to 150 mA and offers a 500 µs response time on high-speed models; the light source is a pulse-modulated LED (model dependent). It is designed to work with standard TRI-TRONICS fiber optic cables and is reverse-polarity and short-circuit protected. Mounting options include panel or machine mounting. Common applications include packaging equipment, bottling lines, pharmaceutical machinery, electronics assembly, food processing equipment, and material handling systems where compact fiber optic sensing detects small parts, labels, edges, or transparent objects. This SMARTEYE controller supports interchangeable fiber optic assemblies for flexible installation and easier sensor replacement or automation upgrades.
