Roland S0002800, marketed as the P42AGS, is a 42 mm diameter photoelectric sensor head designed for ferrous-material sensing within Roland’s E20 fieldbus controller system. It ships without a cable and uses an M12 plug for connection to an M12-compatible sensor cable, with a rugged threaded body of M42 x 1.5 and two flat mounting nuts for secure panel or bracket installation. Intended for ferrous sheets, this sensor head is used with the E20 controller for sheet-detection tasks, commonly enabling detection on ferrous sheets up to about 4.0 mm thick in typical setups.
