Industrial PHD 53603-1-02 Hall Effect Switch
Industrial PHD 53603-1-02 Hall Effect Switch
Description:
The PHD 53603-1-02 Hall Effect Switch is an industrial magnetic-sensing device that outputs a digital signal in response to a magnetic field, enabling non-contact position or speed sensing in automation systems. It operates from 4.5 V to 24 V DC and provides a sinking NPN output with a maximum current of 20 mA, suitable for interfacing with PLCs, microcontrollers, or other DC control circuitry through a pull-up to the supply. In this sinking configuration, the transistor pulls the load to ground when activated, so the connected input reads a low or active state depending on the wiring. Designed for reliability in industrial environments, the device supports typical logic-level interfaces and can be integrated into control panels or machinery health monitoring networks where magnetic-field-triggered signaling is preferred over mechanical switches. The 4.5–24 V range helps accommodate common control voltages, reducing the need for additional power conversions in many installations.
