STI’s MiniSafe-B 12" light curtain set combines the MS4312BX transmitter with the FS4313BR-3 receiver to form a compact, beam-based safety device for guarding machine access. The system uses a 12-inch sensing height and 19 mm resolution, enabling precise detection along the guard line. It provides a beam range of 1 to 30 feet, making it suitable for guarding small to mid-size work cells and equipment lines. As part of the Minisafe MS4300 family, this complete set ships with both transmitter and receiver configured to work together as a single 12" light curtain. When integrated into a compatible safety controller or circuit, beam interruption triggers a stop or safe-state condition to protect personnel during operation at guarding edges, gates, or access points. This combination offers a straightforward, fixed-guard solution for applications such as presses, robotic cells, or other automated machinery where a 12-inch guard field and a 1–30 ft operating envelope are appropriate.
