Industrial MC4-5006-CX1 Safety Mat Controller

The STI MC4-5006-CX1 Safety Mat Controller is a dedicated safety interface that coordinates STI Universal safety mats with guarding equipment, translating mat actuation into controlled machine-stop or interlock signals to protect operators in hazardous zones. Housed in a 14-gauge steel enclosure rated IP65, it provides two normally open safety relay outputs and can be powered from 24 VDC (with an optional 110–240 VAC auto‑select input). The MC4 supports up to six mats in a single system, using four-wire STI mats wired to terminals with color pairs (brown/white and blue/black) and jumpers moved to the last unused terminals as mats are added, enabling scalable safety coverage without changing the controller. For start behavior, it offers START/RESTART interlock or automatic-start configurations, with a remote start switchable option wired between START 1 and START 2 when required.
