Schneider Electric’s Barber-Colman M574-8520 Pneumatic Damper Actuator is a post-mounted piston actuator that positions automatic air dampers in pneumatic control systems. It delivers a 4-inch stroke and a 4–8 psig (28–55 kPa) spring range, with a 1/4 in. O.D. barbed air connection and a clevis-and-pin linkage for attaching to the damper arm. Designed for either proportional or two-position control, it operates on clean, dry, oil-free air supplied at nominal 20 psig with a maximum of 30 psig, making it suitable for HVAC dampers in equipment like air-handling units and zone dampers.
