Industrial LUCB05FU Control Unit

The LUCB05FU Advanced Control Unit from Schneider Electric’s TeSys Ultra line is a modular control unit designed to form a TeSys U starter when paired with the appropriate power bases. It supports 3‑phase motors with a 110–240 VAC or DC coil, a current range of 1.25–5 A, and provides overload and short‑circuit protection, earth fault protection, and phase‑failure/imbalance protection, plus a manual reset and a built‑in current dial for thermal protection tuning. Compatible bases include LUB12, LUB32, LUB38, LUB120, LUB320 and LUB380, and the unit is rated up to 690 V AC with 40–60 Hz operation. Typical motor ratings, as supported by the TeSys Ultra assembly, include up to about 1.5 kW at 400–440 V (2.2 kW at 500 V).
