Industrial KAS-70-35-O-M32 Sensor

RECHNER KAS-70-35-O-M32 Capacitive Sensor combines a rugged nickel-brass housing with an M32 x 1.5 mounting thread and a 70 mm length, 32 mm diameter, for compact industrial installations. It provides an NPN normally closed (CO) output and operates on 10–35 V DC, switching currents up to 400 mA. The sensing range is adjustable from 3 to 30 mm, enabling reliable detection of nearby targets across a broad gap. The device ships with a 2 m, 4-conductor PVC-insulated cable for straightforward wiring and has an IP67 rating for protection against dust and water ingress in harsh environments. Ambient operating temperature ranges from -25 to 70 °C, making it suitable for demanding applications in manufacturing and automation. This sensor is part of Rechner's KAS capacitive family and is commonly used for presence or proximity sensing on conveyors, automated assembly lines, and other equipment where compact, threaded capacitive sensing is required.
