Industrial JA316 Air Trap

The TLV JA3-16A Free Float Air Trap, also known as Industrial JA316 Air Trap, automatically drains condensate from industrial compressed air systems without air loss, helping protect downstream equipment from moisture. It is designed for 1/2 in nominal pipe size with a 1/2 in NPT threaded connection and uses a mechanical free float that self-regulates condensate discharge while maintaining a tight air seal. The trap supports up to 230 psig maximum operating pressure and 230 psi maximum differential pressure, operates at 212 °F (100 °C) maximum operating temperature, with 300 psig maximum allowable pressure and 428 °F (220 °C) maximum allowable temperature; its body is ductile cast iron with stainless steel internal components, and it includes a built-in screen and a manual blowdown device. Commonly installed downstream of compressors, aftercoolers, air receivers, and distribution lines, it serves a wide range of industrial applications in manufacturing, automotive, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and packaging environments.
