Industrial HP6009 Safety Switch

The Omron HP6009 Safety Interlock Switch is a heavy‑duty, hinge‑operated safety interlock designed to guard industrial machine access doors and force a stop if a guard is opened. Built with a die‑cast enclosure and a stainless‑steel actuator, it resists harsh washdown environments (IP66, NEMA 6) and is intended for rugged manufacturing settings. Mounting is straightforward via a pre‑bored shaft with a set screw (a solid shaft option is also available), and the cam limits are adjustable to control guard opening from 5 to 11 degrees.
