Industrial FOX-10 FO-II Light-bus Module

TRS Systemtechnik's FOX-10 FO-II Light-bus Module is a fiber-optic, DIN-rail mounted distributed I/O interface for the FO-II/O Lightbus industrial I/O system. It connects control systems to remote I/O devices over a fiber optic Lightbus network, enabling high-speed, noise-resistant communication for CNC machines, robotics, and automated production lines. The module supports up to 32 digital I/O points via interchangeable submodules and provides four byte-based submodule ports (MDI-8, MDO-8, MDM-8, MDR-8, MAC-8 compatible); it is powered from 24 VDC (±20%) through an X10 power connector, with fiber connections on X90 FO-OUT and X91 FO-IN and a data rate of 2.5 Mbps and 25 µs data cycle for 32-bit messages. As a bus coupler within the FO-II/O Lightbus system, it enables distributed field I/O communication between control systems and remote devices, suitable for CNC equipment, manufacturing machinery, and automation environments requiring reliable I/O networks.
