Industrial ABF-3 10

Schroeder ABF-3/10 is a rugged air breather for hydraulic reservoirs that protects bulk-oil systems from dirt and moisture while allowing vented air to pass at up to 40 SCFM. Depending on configuration, the filtration rating is 3 µm (ABF-3/10-F) or 10 µm (ABF-3/10-S), with an approximate pressure drop of 0.4 psi at 20 SCFM and about 1.25 psi at 40 SCFM. The housing is a durable metal body, and the unit can be equipped with a dipstick or filter strainer; SAE-flange adapters are available for the ABF-3/10-S configuration, while a 3/4 in NPT port variant exists for other setups. Dimensions are roughly 3.7 in in diameter and 4.28 in in height, with a 0.75 in NPT port on certain variants. Common applications include industrial and automotive manufacturing, machine tools, mining, power generation, steelmaking, pulp and paper, agriculture, and mobile equipment—any scenario requiring controlled venting and contamination protection for hydraulic reservoirs. The ABF-3/10 is part of Schroeder’s reservoir-accessories line, designed to extend hydraulic oil life by minimizing particulates and moisture ingress while permitting air to escape as pressure equilibrates.
