The Senvex AA-22-NO Pneumatic Angular Sprue Gripper is a compact, two-jaw gripping device designed for fast, precise handling of molded sprue and small parts in automated lines. It operates on 116 psi (8 bar) of compressed air and features two angular jaws with a 2x20° opening range to accommodate typical sprue geometries. The gripper provides a clamping torque of 250–350 N·cm and weighs about 115 g, making it suitable for high-speed cycling in tight spaces. The AA-22-NO variant is normally open, meaning it remains open until air pressure engages the jaws, enabling clean release and controlled timing in end-of-arm tooling. Common uses include sprue capture and transfer in plastic injection molding, as well as pick-and-place tasks for small components on automated assembly lines in manufacturing environments.
