Industrial 61C544 16 Channel RTD Input Module

61C544 is an industrial RTD input module designed for Reliance Electric AutoMax/AutoMate Multibus I/O systems. The 16-channel RTD module accepts 16 RTD inputs (100 Ω platinum sensors) and converts them to temperature readings in Celsius or Fahrenheit, with support for 2-wire, 3-wire, and 4-wire RTD terminations. Each channel provides up to four alarm setpoints, and all channels share a single analog common with 2500 V isolation from digital ground. The module uses a 1 mA RTD excitation current and offers automatic calibration, a running-average filter adjustable from 1 to 60 samples, and RTD-to-temperature conversions for standard platinum RTDs (alpha ≈ 0.00385–0.00392 /°C). The RTD temperature range spans from -200 to 500 °C, enabling measurement across a wide industrial spectrum. Multibus compatibility lets the 61C544 operate in local or remote racks and integrate with AutoMate, AutoMax, or DCS 5000 configurations, feeding precise temperature values to the host controller for process monitoring and control.
