Industrial 5-GROUNDING-LOCKNUT Grounding Locknut

The 5" Grounding Locknut is an electrical conduit fitting used to secure threaded conduit or connectors to enclosures while providing a reliable grounding path for electrical continuity. Made of steel with a zinc-plated or galvanized finish, this 5 in. grounding locknut mounts by threading onto conduit or connectors inside the enclosure and is compatible with rigid metal conduit (RMC) and intermediate metal conduit (IMC), with serrated teeth that bite through painted or coated surfaces to establish bonding. Commonly installed in industrial control panels, switchgear, motor control centers, and commercial electrical systems, it offers corrosion resistance and is UL Listed and CSA Certified (manufacturer dependent).
