Shark 250-60-10-V4-D2-INP100S-PO1S-X is Electro Industries’ Cyber Secure Shark 250 multifunction power and energy meter designed for utility and critical industrial substations. It operates on a 60 Hz system with a 5 A nominal CT secondary (60-10) and uses a universal power supply (D2) rated for 90–265 VAC or 100–370 VDC, enabling flexible installation from AC mains to DC sources. The INP100S Ethernet card provides 100BaseT networking, while the PO1S option adds four pulse outputs and four status inputs for synchronized interfacing with control systems and metering points. As a V4 variant, it expands onboard memory and waveform capture capabilities to support detailed data logging and harmonic analysis, delivering up to 512 samples per cycle for waveform recording. Featuring V‑Switch technology that enables meter features through firmware rather than hardware changes, it is intended for DIN-rail mounting in panels and combines real-time power and energy measurements with event logging and secure communications for monitoring, fault detection, and demand management in modern power networks.
