Description:
The Industrial 16IR AG60 and 16ER AG60 carbide threading inserts are partial-profile 60° tools designed for internal (16IR AG60) and external (16ER AG60) threading in CNC lathes, engine lathes, and turning centers, capable of cutting metric ISO and UN threads with pitches from 0.5 to 3.0 mm (48–8 TPI). Built from cemented carbide and available with TiN or PVD coatings (manufacturer dependent), these inserts have a 9.52 mm (3/8 in) IC, 3.66 mm thickness, and three cutting edges, and they’re intended for general-purpose threading of steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and non-ferrous metals. Common replacements include Carmex 16IR AG60, Carmex 16ER AG60, and Mitsubishi MMT 16IR AG60.
