Industrial 1140018B Compression Packing is a Robco 1140 compression packing built from GFO yarn braided in Translok braid and lubricated with graphite and silicone, designed for sealing around stems in pumps and valves where chemical resistance and high-temperature performance are required. The 1140 family is produced from a high-tensile modulus PTFE and is widely used in petrochemical, pulp and paper, power generation, nuclear, mining, plastics, chemical processing, manufacturing, transport, aerospace, and food and marine industries. For the 1140018B variant, the cross-section is 3/16 inch and the spool weight is 2 pounds. The packing offers a service temperature up to 500°F (260°C) and a pH range of 0 to 14, making it suitable for aggressive process fluids while providing lubrication-assisted sealing.
