The Hoffman Specialty TD6528 Thermodisc Steam Trap is a 1 in. NPT, cast‑iron Thermodisc steam trap (Model TD6528) rated for up to 600 psi and 800°F, with a threaded connection and without a built‑in strainer. As part of the Series TD6520 family, TD6528 is designed for high‑pressure drip traps on steam mains and supply lines, tracer lines, and other light‑to‑moderate condensate loads, with capacities up to 4,700 lbs/hr (2,132 kg/hr). The trap uses a hard‑wearing bimetallic disc as the sole moving part to open and close the seat, delivering reliable condensate discharge in high‑temperature steam systems, and is suitable for outdoor installations when piped in vertical orientation, where it is freeze‑resistant.
