Emerson Rosemount 644HANA16 Temperature Transmitter is a member of the Rosemount 644 family that converts sensor temperatures to a 4–20 mA signal with digital communication through HART, FOUNDATION Fieldbus, or PROFIBUS PA, depending on the selected configuration. It is offered in head-mount, field-mount, and rail-mount housings and can support single-sensor input or dual-sensor input (the dual-input option is HART-only). The unit accepts RTD sensors (notably PT100) or thermocouples, enabling accurate temperature measurement across diverse process environments. An optional Local Operator Interface (LOI) provides a two-line LCD for field configuration without tools when installed on supported configurations. Diagnostic capabilities include Hot Backup, a sensor-drift alert, and thermocouple degradation monitoring to help maintain process reliability.
