Dayco RD-5-12108-600P Nylon Reduced O.D. Barrier Hose

Dayco RD-5-12108-600P is Red Dot’s 50 ft nylon reduced-OD barrier refrigerant hose, designated No. 8 (SAE hose size 78R9468). It features an inside diameter of 13/32 in and a maximum outside diameter of 45/64 in, making it a compact option for routing refrigerant lines in tight automotive applications. The hose is sold in a 50 ft box and carries the factory part numbers RD-5-12108-600P and 78R9468, aligning with Red Dot’s 70R series of barrier hoses. This nylon barrier hose is intended for use in automotive air conditioning systems where a barrier refrigerant line is required, providing a barrier between refrigerant and the exterior environment while fitting standard No. 8 hose fittings. Typical applications include connecting components in vehicle A/C circuits where space constraints demand a reduced outer diameter without sacrificing leak integrity. The product is listed as new and is part of the Dayco/Nylon Barrier Hose family used in Red Dot configurations for refrigerant systems.
