Clippard Instrument Laboratory MPA-7 Minimatic Pilot Air Valve

Clippard MPA-7 Minimatic Pilot Air Valve is a single-acting, spring-return air pilot actuator that threads onto the tops of Clippard minimatic miniature 2-, 3-, and 4-way valves to provide fast pilot actuation from a pneumatic signal. It features a 7/8-inch bore and a 1/8-inch NPT inlet port for compact, straightforward plumbing. The unit is designed for up to 250 psi input pressure and incorporates a brass Delrin piston, a nitrile seal, and a stainless steel spring, delivering reliable, repeatable pilot motion to connected Minimatic valves. This actuator serves as the control element that converts a supplied pilot air signal into the pressure needed to operate the downstream valve, enabling compact pilot circuits in Pneumatic automation arrangements that rely on rapid response and space efficiency. As part of Clippard’s Minimatic family, the MPA-7 is specified for use with standard air-piloted actuator configurations, providing consistent performance in small-bore pilot applications where a compact, high-flow actuator is required.
