Carr Lane CL-650-VTC Vertical Handle Toggle Clamp

The Carr Lane CL-650-VTC is a 750 lb vertical-handle toggle clamp designed for fast, secure workholding of large panels and fixtures. Configured as Open Arm, Flanged Base, it features a wide opening: the arm travels 106° while the handle moves 58°, allowing easier access and clamping of oversized parts. It accepts standard spindles (3/8-16 or M10) and is offered in steel or stainless steel versions (the stainless CL-650-VTC-S is available). Steel bodies use 1008/1010/1018 steel with a zinc-plated clear chromate finish; stainless variants use 300-series stainless for the clamp body and stainless rivets. The CL-650-VTC series includes several configurations—CL-651-VTC (Open Arm, Straight Base), CL-651-VTC-2, CL-652-VTC (Open Arm, Flanged Base, T Handle), as well as solid-arm versions for fixed spindle locations—each rated for 750 lb. An optional safety-lock version is available as CL-650-LVTC. The unit ships at about 1.3 lb and is designed for applications such as securing templates, fixtures, or workpieces in drilling, milling, routing, or inspection setups where rapid, repeatable clamping is required.
