Carlo Gavazzi EI1808NPOS Electromatic Proximity Sensor Switch

Carlo Gavazzi EI1808NPOPS is an inductive proximity sensor in a compact M18 thermoplastic housing with a 2 m cable, designed for non-flush mounting and a short-body profile. It provides an NPN normally-open (NO) output and is powered from 10–40 V DC, capable of switching up to 200 mA at frequencies up to 400 Hz. The sensor has an 8 mm sensing distance and is intended for detecting metal targets without contact. Its plastic housing and IP67 rating support reliable operation in dusty or wet industrial environments, across an operating temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The device uses a three-wire DC connection for straightforward integration into automation circuits. Ideal applications include metal-target detection on conveyors, packaging lines, and various machinery where robust, non-contact sensing of metal parts is required.
