Captron CUT-385-21F70 VA-214 Sensor

Captron CUT-385-21F70 VA-214 Sensor is a capacitive fill-level measurement system that pairs Captron's CUT-385 sensor element with the VA-214 external amplifier to deliver reliable, contactless liquid level sensing. The probe relies on capacitive sensing, with no moving parts, and uses materials suitable for media exposure—PTFE (Teflon), PEEK, and stainless steel—providing compatibility with a range of liquids. It operates on DC 24 V (20–30 V) and offers a 4–20 mA analog output (A4) for process integration, along with a NO switch output that switches at about 10% of the filling level. A built-in LED bar display gives a visual indication of the current level, and during setup the 0% and 100% indicators illuminate red to signal teaching mode. The VA-214 amplifier supports calibration and configuration as described in Captron's VA-214 setting instructions, including reset procedures and alignment guidance, and is designed for use with Captron’s CAPselect approach to tailor behavior to container type and media. With an operating temperature range of 0°C to +70°C, the system is suited to a variety of industrial environments where precise, non-contact level monitoring is required.
