NHNT1434 is Burndy’s N-LINE reversible cap T-connector for substation copper tube-to-cable terminations, delivering a 90-degree T join from copper tube to cable rated for 230 kV. It accepts a 3/4 in IPS/EHPS run and taps from 1/0 AWG to 500 kcmil, with a bolted copper alloy body that measures 5.82 in long and 2.56 in wide and uses a 1/2-13 bolt. The cap is reversible, allowing the full cable range to be accommodated by reversing cap. The installation is designed for one-wrench operation, with a recommended torque of 480 in-lbs.
