The Bullard AC1000 Cool Climate Control Tube delivers a continuous flow of cooled intake air to Bullard supplied‑air respirators, reducing incoming air temperature by up to 30°F (17°C) to help workers stay comfortable in hot environments. The kit includes the AC1000 Cool Tube, belt bracket, nylon belt, and heat shield for belt‑mounted configurations. It is designed for use with Bullard supplied‑air respirators and relies on a clean, breathable air source (Grade D or better); the device does not purify air or remove contaminants. An Air Temperature Control Knob lets the user adjust the cooling of the incoming air to suit personal comfort, and the system connects to the respirator’s air hose via a quick‑disconnect coupling. The AC1000 should not be used with low‑pressure ambient air sources (such as ambient air pumps), and it is not recommended when the ambient air temperature is below about 70°F (21°C) to avoid the risk of ice formation in the breathing tube. Ensure proper operation by verifying the apparatus is fully assembled with the heat shield and belt hardware and used with Bullard’s approved air‑supply arrangements.
