BS&B Safety Systems FA-7R Rupture Disc Holder

BS&B FA-7R Rupture Disc Holder is a 4‑inch nominal, ANSI class 150 compatible holder designed to sit between standard flange assemblies and securely clamp BS&B B (solid metal) or D (composite) rupture disks in place. The FA-7R features a reduced outer diameter and flat seating faces, enabling installation between ANSI flanges without needing special adapters, and it holds the disk between inlet and outlet angled seats while protecting the disk dome inside the holder. The standard construction uses 316 stainless steel or carbon steel, with optional materials including Monel 400, Inconel 600, Hastelloy C/C-276, aluminum, and titanium for more demanding or corrosive service. It is offered as part of bolted, union, and screw-type safety head assemblies and is compatible with BS&B’s B and D disk families, ensuring consistent performance with the corresponding disks and installation configurations. For maintenance and rapid replacement, BS&B provides accessories such as Saf-T-Change Quick Disk Replacement (QDR), plus sensors and gauges to monitor disk activation and system status. This FA-7R is designed to deliver reliable, space‑efficient disk protection in piping systems that require compact integration between ANSI flanges while preserving BS&B’s established flow paths and seating geometry.
