BS&B Safety Systems FA-7R Rupture Disc Holder

The BS&B FA-7R rupture disc holder from BS&B Safety Systems delivers rapid disk replacement in a compact, pre-assembled safety head that fits between ANSI flange studs for 1 in, 1440# systems and is designed for use with BS&B B- and D-type rupture disks. This insert-type holder features an angled seating surface to help prevent leaks, a flow-direction arrow on the head to indicate correct orientation, and protected disk domes to minimize damage during installation and operation; it supports bolted, union, and screw-type connections and can be configured with inlet or outlet taps for monitoring devices, with the safety head designed to keep the ruptured disk contained. Standard materials are 316 stainless steel and carbon steel, with additional options including Monel 400, Inconel 600, Hastelloy C/C-276, aluminum, and titanium to suit corrosive or high-temperature service. An optional TR torque-resistant safety head expands the seating surface to distribute load and reduce overtorque risk when metal spiral-wound gaskets are used, and the FA-7R can be configured for double-disk assemblies where required.
