Bendix K041000 AD-IS Air Dryer

Bendix K041000 AD-IS Air Dryer is a Bendix AD-IS (oil‑coalescing) air dryer assembly built to pair with Bendix reservoir systems on commercial vehicles. It serves to dry compressed air and reduce oil mist entering the air brake system, helping protect valves, actuators and accessories from oil carryover and moisture. The K041000 designation identifies this specific dryer model within Bendix’s AD-IS family, and distributors list it as a special‑order item. The AD-IS line is designed to integrate with Bendix reservoir components and can be equipped with Puraguard oil‑coalescing cartridges for oil removal, and typical configurations include a purge reservoir, governor and heater/thermostat assembly as illustrated in Bendix technical literature. Typical applications include medium- to heavy‑duty trucks and other commercial vehicles requiring clean, dry air for braking and pneumatic systems.
