Beckwith M-0193B Syncrocloser Unit RR4

Beckwith M-0193B Syncrocloser Unit (RR4) is Beckwith Electric’s generator interconnection control module that coordinates the safe closing of a breaker by verifying voltage, frequency, and phase alignment before connection, using Zero Phase Prediction to gauge closing timing across frequency differences. The unit includes input-noise filters and a front-panel M-0193B Ready LED, and can be ordered with Anti-Motoring to prevent closing when the generator frequency lags the line, as well as an Anti-Pump option that limits rapid successive closures by enforcing a roughly 0.5-second closing window and a 10-second power-down between attempts. Additional features include the Operator Window Option, which requires the operator’s contact to close within a configurable time and phase-angle window or the unit blocks closing and resets for the next attempt, and a Generator Control Unit compatibility option for use with Beckwith’s M-0194 Generator Control Unit. The M-0193B supports 50 Hz operation and mounting options including horizontal mounting as standard, with vertical mounting or a vertical GE GES21A retrofit panel option available; when used with the M-0194 unit, the Syncrocloser coordinates speed and voltage adjustments prior to breaker closure to ensure a safe interconnection.
