Beckhoff KL5121 Point-To-Point Control Module

Beckhoff KL5121 is a 1-channel incremental encoder interface terminal that enables linear path control (point-to-point positioning) in Beckhoff’s KL bus I/O system, pairing a 1-channel encoder input with four 24 V DC digital outputs for drive signaling and a 250 kHz encoder interface. The module maps its control and status bytes into the PLC process image, providing 2 × 16-bit input data and 2 × 8-bit control/status to support real-time position and command exchange. Powered from 24 V DC HTL and designed as a KL5xxx bus terminal, the KL5121 integrates tightly with Beckhoff controllers for precise position feedback, suitable for cam-driven or linear-motion applications and other linear path control scenarios.
