Beckhoff KL3022 Analog Input Terminal

Beckhoff KL3022 is a two-channel analog input terminal for the Beckhoff Bus Terminal system that converts 4–20 mA current-loop signals into digital values with 12-bit resolution. Each channel features differential inputs with a common internal ground, an input impedance of 80 Ω plus a diode drop of about 0.7 V, and supports a common-mode voltage up to 35 V. The converted current is transmitted to the controller in an electrically isolated form via the K-bus, with open-lead or overload conditions detected and indicated by terminal LEDs; conversion time is approximately 2 ms. It is powered from the K-bus and integrates into Beckhoff's modular I/O architecture for precise monitoring of current-loop sensors in industrial automation.
