Beckhoff EL1008 8 Channel Digital Input Terminal

Beckhoff EL1008 is an EtherCAT terminal that provides eight digital input channels for 24 V DC signals. Each channel features an LED indicator and the module transmits input states to the controller with electrical isolation, ensuring safety between process equipment and the automation system.

As part of Beckhoff’s EL1xxx digital input family, the EL1008 supports eight 24 V DC inputs with a 3 ms input filter, enabling fast, reliable sampling of binary process signals on industrial networks.

Typical applications include reading status from limit switches, sensors, and other discrete devices on production lines or machinery, where isolated, EtherCAT-networked input data is required for precise control and monitoring.
