Barksdale UDS7 0427 476 UDS Dual Pressure Switch

Explosion-proof electronic dual pressure switch from Barksdale (UDS7-BX family) combines two independent pressure-switching channels with an optional analog output in a compact, rugged housing designed for hazardous environments. The unit monitors system pressure and provides two switching outputs (SP1 and SP2) with a maximum load of 0.4 A per output, and it can be configured for multiple pressure ranges from 0–500 PSIG up to 0–10,000 PSIG (ranges above 1,000 PSIG may be displayed in PSH units). An optional analog output is available (factory configured) in 4–20 mA or 0–10 VDC formats. The UDS7-BX is labeled explosion-proof and is intended to be installed only in systems where the maximum pressure (Pmax) is not exceeded; it should not be relied upon as the sole safety element in a pressurized system per PED 97/23/EC. Field wiring uses a 1/4" NPTF electrical conduit connection, and the device is designed for industrial hydraulics and pneumatics, OEM equipment, and heavy industry where two-point pressure signaling and reliable switch action are required.
