The Banner Engineering SLSCE30-900Q8 EZ-SCREEN Cascade Light Curtain Emitter is a 900 mm-defined-height, 60-beam, 30 mm‑resolution transmitter designed to pair with a corresponding receiver to form a cascade safety curtain for machinery. As part of Banner’s EZ-SCREEN cascade family, this emitter defines a 900 mm (35.4 in) high sensing area and uses an 8-pin M12 connector; the housing length is 971 mm (38.2 in). It provides up to 18 m (60 ft) sensing range and a response time (Tr) of 19 ms. The emitter works with the matching SLSCR30-900Q8 receiver or SLSCP30-900Q88 pair to create the cascade curtain across the defined area. Typical applications include safeguarding hazardous machine zones on automated lines—such as presses, feeders, and robot cells—where reliable line-of-sight protection is required.
