Banner Engineering BT215SMSS Fiber Optic Sensor

BT215SMSS is Banner Engineering's glass-fiber optic sensor in the BT2xxSMSS family, featuring a 180-inch (15 ft) glass-fiber lead and a 7.5-inch-long body. The sensor's housing is 0.125 inches in diameter, and the arrangement uses glass fiber optics to deliver the sensing path away from the main unit. Designed for tight spaces and difficult layouts, it is well suited for presence/absence sensing on conveyors, packaging equipment, and other automation processes where routing the fiber keeps the active sensing area accessible. As part of Banner's fiber optic ecosystem, BT215SMSS integrates with Banner's fiber components and accessories for flexible installations.
