BAT23S is Banner Engineering's diffuse-mode, bifurcated glass fiber optic sensor cable with a stainless steel monocoil sheath and a right-angle, 5/16-24 UNF threaded sensing tip. The fiber is 0.914 m (36 in) long with a 3.2 mm (0.125 in) core, and its sensing end is brass; the assembly is terminated and rated for temperatures up to 249 C. This cable is designed to connect to Banner amplifiers as part of a fiber optic sensing system, enabling diffuse-mode detection with a right-angle fiber tip for compact installations.
