Balluff BOS23K-PU-LH20-S4 Photoelectric Sensor

Balluff BOS23K-PU-LH20-S4 is a diffuse, triangulation-based photoelectric sensor in Balluff's 23K washdown family that detects objects with a laser red light (Class 1) across a 5 to 800 mm range. The compact square housing measures 23 x 51 x 52.4 mm and uses an M12x1 4-pin connector with a 12–30 V DC supply, and it provides a PNP normally open or normally closed output configuration. It features rotatable mounting up to 270°, with power and status LEDs (green for power, yellow for output/error) to simplify alignment and diagnostics. Constructed with a PC-ABS housing and a PMMA lens, the sensor is rated for washdown environments (IP6X, IPX9K) and carries CE, cULus, and Ecolab compatibility; the model specifies a detectable beam spot of roughly 2.5 x 3.5 mm at 800 mm.
