The Balluff BOS 12M-PS-1YB-S4-C is a compact diffuse photoelectric sensor (Ø12 x 70 mm) with a PNP normally-open output, designed to detect reflective targets up to 200 mm away using infrared light. It features a nickel-plated brass housing with a PMMA sensing face and an M12x1 4-pin connector (S4) for easy wiring. It operates from 10 to 30 V DC, draws less than 20 mA no-load, and can switch up to 200 mA with short-circuit protection. Built for harsh industrial environments, it carries IP67 protection and an operating temperature range of -15 to +55 C.
