Balluff BNS-819-X661-D03-E12-100-10-FD Switch

Balluff BNS 819 mechanical position switch, three-position sensing with dual changeover outputs, comes in a rugged anodized aluminum housing designed for demanding industrial environments. The device provides one normally open and one normally closed channel per position (galvanically isolated, snap-contact design) and supports a continuous current of up to 5 A per position at a rated operating voltage of 6–60 V. It is intended for vertical installation with the approach direction along the mounting surface and offers a maximum switching rate up to 300 rpm. The actuation uses an E12 plunger family (chisel style) with a plunger spacing of 30 mm and a cam-to-reference-edge distance of 4.5–5.0 mm. Built for harsh conditions, it tolerates ambient temperatures from −5 °C to 85 °C and carries IP67 protection. Mechanical life is specified up to about 30 million switching cycles, making it well suited for cam- or lug-driven sequencing in automation, packaging, and machine-tool applications. Electrical connections are available via screw terminals or connectors, depending on variant, and the product carries approvals including CE, UKCA, CCC, and WEEE.
