Balluff BES03KM is a compact flush-mount inductive proximity sensor with an 8 mm sensing face and a 30 mm body, designed for metal-detection in tight spaces. Encased in a stainless steel housing with a flush active surface made of PBT, it provides a normally open PNP output powered from a 10–30 V DC supply, terminated by a 0.77 m M12 connector cable. The device has a nominal switching distance (Sn) of 1.5 mm, enabling reliable detection of metal targets when mounted flush to the surface. This low-profile sensor is well suited for inline machinery, conveyors, and fixtures where a robust metal sensor is required.
