The MM710B T1/E1 Media Module provides a built-in CSU and native T1/E1 trunk termination for Avaya G430 and G450 Branch Gateways, delivering a complete DS-1 interface for enterprise trunks. It supports software-selectable T1 or E1 operation with an integrated CSU, and supports μ-law on T1 and A-law on E1 with corresponding echo cancellation in both directions. Framing options include D4, ESF, or CEPT, and ISDN PRI is supported for T1 or E1 with 23 B-channels + 1 D-channel or 30 B-channels + 1 D-channel. Line coding includes AMI, ZCS, B8ZS for T1 and HDB3 (or AMI) for E1; it provides trunk signaling to support US and international CO or tie trunks, and fractional T1 support. A DB-25 OIC interface and Bantam loopback jack facilitate testing of T1 or E1 circuits. The MM710B conforms to universal DS-1 standards—ANSI T1.403 1.544 Mbps for T1 and ITU-T G.703 2.048 Mbps for E1—and is RoHS compliant.
