The Autotech Controls E5N-A010V-800ME DigiSolver Encoder is a rugged, resolver-based absolute encoder that integrates a Mil-Grade resolver with Autotech’s DigiSolver digital converter inside the compact E5N 40 mm housing to deliver reliable position feedback in harsh industrial environments. It provides true absolute position output with single-turn resolutions up to 13 bits in Binary, Gray code, or BCD, and multi-turn capability up to 18 bits across 64 turns, depending on configuration; the DigiSolver design uses a built-in ratiometric converter to produce clean digital outputs without optics. The device supports a wide input voltage range described for DigiSolver models as 5 VDC or 8–30 VDC and offers field-selectable CW/CCW operation by reversing the resolver input plug, simplifying setup without rewiring. It includes PLC-friendly synchronization and a family of outputs that can include digital codes plus optional analog signals such as angle, velocity, and direction, along with a ripple diagnostic signal for health monitoring.
