The AutomationDirect PFM1-BN-3H is a 12 mm diameter tubular inductive proximity sensor with a 64.8 mm stainless‑steel body and a 4 mm nominal sensing distance. It operates from 10–30 VDC and provides an NPN normally open output via a 4‑pin M12 quick‑disconnect, with a switching frequency of about 2 kHz. The sensor uses a 316L stainless steel housing and is rated IP67, IP68, and IP69K, supporting flush mounting (mounting hardware included; cable assemblies sold separately) in harsh environments.
