AutomationDirect's CXP-AP-1A is a polarized retroreflective rectangular photoelectric sensor with a 2 m sensing distance, designed to detect targets that reflect light back to the receiver. It operates on 10–36 VDC with a 3-wire PNP output and a 2 m (6.5 ft) pigtail cable, and it emits visible red light for straightforward target indication. The compact housing measures 30 x 15 x 30 mm in a plastic IP65 enclosure and uses an adjustable potentiometer for threshold setting, with dark-on mode and switching up to about 1 kHz. A reflector is required for operation, sold separately.
